We work super hard all year long to get your favorite stores to make room for us on their shelves, and you can help us get there: We encourage you to submit a product request form to your store to let them know which flavors you’d like to see on shelves—if they know you want it, they’ll want to carry it! Many grocery stores also have their own product request forms on their website, so you may be able to submit a request with your favorite directly.
Nutrition facts and a list of ingredients are available on the product page for each individual flavor.
A pint of Enlightened contains 4 1/2-cup servings.

...I’m following the WW (Weight Watchers) plan?
Yes! Enlightened low calorie and dairy-free ice cream flavors have SmartPoints® values ranging from 2-4. The SmartPoints® value for this product was calculated by Beyond Better Foods, LLC and is provided for informational purposes only. ...I have diabetes?
We’ve heard from lots of people with diabetes who enjoy our desserts as an option lower in net carbs and sugar than traditional options. As low GI (glycemic index) foods, Enlightened products don't cause the blood sugar spikes and crashes that are common with products in the ice cream aisle. Our keto ice cream pints and bars are our lowest-sugar options—each flavor is made with no added sugar! Since everyone’s dietary needs are different, we always recommend consulting your doctor, registered dietitian, or other trusted healthcare professional.
...I’m lactose intolerant?
Looking to avoid dairy? Our dairy-free ice cream pints and bars are a great option. Fruit Infusions are also made without dairy, with the exception of Coconut + Immunity.
...I can’t eat foods containing gluten?
Many Enlightened ice cream flavors, including all of our keto ice cream flavors, are gluten-free! You can find this information listed on the product page for each individual flavor. Dough Bites and Fruit Infusions are also gluten-free. Our cheesecakes are made in a facility that processes wheat, but do not contain wheat-based ingredients.
...I can’t eat foods containing soy?
Many Enlightened flavors are made without soy, and the vegetable glycerin we use is soy-free. You can find a full list of ingredients on the product page for each flavor.
...I’m allergic to peanuts/tree nuts?
Many Enlightened flavors are made without peanuts or tree nuts as ingredients, but all are processed in facilities that also process peanuts and tree nuts. Equipment is always cleaned between production runs, but we cannot guarantee the absence of any residue.
Enlightened ice cream is sweetened with monk fruit and erythritol, which are all-natural, zero-carb sweeteners. You can read more about these ingredients on our blog.
Some carbs are broken down completely and absorbed by your body, while other carbs (like fiber and sugar alcohols) are only partially broken down and absorbed. We highlight the net carbs that remain after subtracting fiber and sugar alcohols because these are the only carbs that affect blood sugar. Here’s a quick net carb equation you can use with any nutrition label you encounter: Total Carbohydrates - Dietary Fiber - Sugar Alcohols = Net Carbs.
Sugar causes ice cream to melt more quickly, and since ours is lower in sugar, it doesn’t melt as quickly as traditional ice cream. We are always working on ways around this for the best experience for eager ice cream eaters (like us!). But the best things in life are worth waiting for, including Enlightened ice cream! For maximum deliciousness and the creamiest possible texture, we recommend letting your pint sit out for 5-10 minutes before digging in. (Feeling impatient? You can also scoop your ice cream into a bowl and give it a few seconds in the microwave.)
We don't recommend sharing our products with your pet. Some ingredients used in some of our products, like xylitol, are great for humans but not safe for dogs.
Yes! On the product page for each flavor, you'll see the option to add a single pint, box or bag to your cart. Once you've reached the minimum order amount of $50, you'll be able to check out with your custom order.
As much as we love each flavor we create, sometimes we have to make changes to the lineup we offer to make room for what's new. While flavors that have gone into retirement won't be listed on our Store Locator, they may still appear in stores for a limited time, so be sure to stock up if you spot them!

Light Ice Cream
Like all Enlightened products, our low calorie pints and bars are made with erythritol and monkfruit, natural zero-calorie sweeteners. We also substitute skim milk for some of the cream content in these flavors.
Yes! Light pint flavors without added sugar include Chocolate Peanut Butter, Cold Brew Coffee, Mint Chocolate Chip, Marshmallow Peanut Butter, and Vanilla Bean.
We're always working on the best possible eating experience. Depending on the flavor, our latest recipe improvements have involved some small changes to the amount of calories per serving. The FDA has also changed the serving size for ice cream from ½ cup to ⅔ cup.
Dairy-Free Ice Cream
Yes! Enlightened dairy-free pints and bars are 100% vegan.
All of our dairy-free pints and bars are made using almond milk.
Keto Ice Cream
Like other Enlightened ice cream products, Enlightened keto ice cream is sweetened using monk fruit, erythritol, and allulose, natural zero net carb sweeteners that won’t spike blood sugar. In addition, Enlightened keto ice cream pints contain 8g net carbs or fewer per pint, and Enlightened keto ice cream bars contain 2g net carbs or fewer per bar. All of our keto flavors are also made with real cream and no added sugar.
The keto diet is focused on reducing carbs (typically to a maximum of 20 net carbs daily) and eating a diet high in fat and moderate in protein. Since fats contain more than twice as many calories per gram as proteins and carbohydrates, any product that’s higher in fat is likely to be higher in calories. Compared to traditional ice creams, though, the Keto Collection still contains less fat and fewer calories per serving.
Unlike some fibers such as isomaltooligosaccharides (often labeled as prebiotic fiber or tapioca fiber), soluble corn fiber is considered a true fiber by the FDA. According to the latest peer-reviewed data, soluble corn fiber is a great option for adding fiber to keto and low-carb diets.
The FDA has changed the serving size for ice cream from ½ cup to ⅔ cup. In the coming months, you’ll see this change across all of our pints.
We are always working to make our products even better and to deliver the best possible eating experience. Our latest recipe improvement includes the addition of allulose, another zero net carb sweetener you may already know from our cheesecakes and Dough Bites (and which is also present naturally in foods like figs and raisins).
Depending on the flavor, there have been some small changes to the amount of net carbs. Each of the updated keto pints contains 8g or fewer net carbs per pint, and we’ve removed sugar from the ingredients completely on the updated pints.
Allulose is a zero net carb sweetener which you may already know from our cheesecakes and Dough Bites (and which is also found in foods like figs and raisins). It provides a great, clean sweetness similar to the taste of sugar but with 90% fewer calories. Along with tasting even better, our ice cream made with allulose is easier to scoop from the container.
Fruit Infusions
In other fruit bars, sugar is often the star ingredient—sometimes as much as 20g per bar! Fruit bars which claim “no sugar added” often replace the sugar with artificial sweeteners like acesulfame potassium. Enlightened Fruit Infusions are naturally sweetened with 70-80% less sugar (regular fruit bars average 16g sugar per serving; Enlightened Fruit Infusions contain 3-5g sugar per serving) and are infused with adaptogens to keep you feeling your best.
With the exception of Coconut + Immunity, which contains milk, all Fruit Infusions flavors are vegan.
Yes, all Fruit Infusions flavors are gluten-free!
The first ingredient is fruit, so mostly fruit! We also use a couple of different natural sweeteners, monk fruit and tapioca syrup. (You may also know monk fruit from Enlightened ice cream pints and bars!)
Depending on the flavor, one fruit bar contains 6-11g net carbs. To find the amount of net carbs in a Fruit Infusions bar, you can subtract the grams of dietary fiber and vegetable glycerin from the total grams of carbohydrates. Full nutrition facts for each flavor are available on the product page for that flavor.
An adaptogen is any plant or herb that has positive regulating effects on the body. You may recognize many of the adaptogens in Fruit Infusions from your home kitchen!
Cheesecakes
One cheesecake contains 2g net carbs. To find the amount of net carbs in one of our cheesecakes, you can subtract the grams of dietary fiber, erythritol, and allulose from the total grams of carbohydrates.
Our cheesecakes are made in a facility that processes wheat, but do not contain any wheat-based ingredients.
Yes! Our cheesecakes have Tablet-K kosher certification.
Dough Bites
A serving of Dough Bites contains 2g net carbs. This calculation is made on the back of the bag beneath the nutrition facts and you can also find it on our product pages.

Yes! Enlightened ready-to-bake cookies have Kof-K kosher certification.
For cookies that are way lower in carbs, we use high fiber wheat flour, milled from non-GMO wheat grown to have higher fiber content. Compared to traditional wheat flour, this flour has over 10 times the fiber!
No, these cookies should always be baked before enjoying!
To bake a batch of cookies, start by preheating your oven to 325°F. Place the unbaked cookies 3 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until golden brown around the edges, about 10-13 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool completely before removing them from the pan.
Unbaked cookies should be kept frozen until you’re ready to start baking. If you’re baking fewer than 12 cookies at a time, you can leave the unbaked cookies in the box in your freezer. (Thawed cookie dough should not be refrozen.) Baked cookies can be stored in an airtight reusable container for up to 5 days (at room temperature) or 3 months (frozen).
Look for Enlightened ready-to-bake cookies in the frozen desserts aisle.
