OMG, these taste every bit as good as the sugar-laden variety. I love that they are friendly to my 'carb-avoidance' diet. They taste even better when I find them on sale :)
My granddaughter is on the keto diet for epilepsy. We are so proud of her for sticking to her diet. These peanut butter bars were a great treat for her and she loves them. I am diabetic and I'm also on keto diet and these were a great treet for me as well. My daughter also is on a no sugar low carb diet due to health issues. None of us are happy that all our local Walmart's no longer carry these. I have now learned how to make a similar treat for at home but when we are out and about on a hot day, it would be nice to have access to these for a treat. Walmart seems to have replaced them with products that have artificial sweeteners that I believe to be unhealthy especially for epileptics. We will not use those. Enlightened peanut butter bars are great. Just wish we could find them now.
My husband and I are on a Keto diet and these have been our go to dessert. Sadly our Walmart discontinued them.
